Gianella Busuttil

Personal Statement

Personal Statement

My name is Gianella Busuttil and presently I am reading the third year B.Ed. (Hons.) course specialising in Computing at the University of Malta.  This four year course is very intensive and challenging which demands high level studying.  I am very keen on furthering my studies in the computing subjects. This year I started doing some research for my thesis where soon I will be carrying out a survey regarding the use of Interactive whiteboards in secondary schools.  This study surveys the use teachers of ICT, Computer Studies and Mathematics make of interactive whiteboards.  In particular, the study will investigate the extent to which teachers use the technology, the adoption of different teaching methodologies best suited to using this technology; and the perceived effectiveness and benefits of this tool.
