Personal Statement

I have been interested in ICT in education and particularly science since opening my first BBC A computer way back. I have worked as a Head of Science, senior leader in a comprehensive, LEA adviser for science and ICT, Ofsted Inspector for science and ICT, teacher trainer for science. I am particularly interested in the use of ICT in the globalisation of education for communication and collaborative learning. I have led educational visits focusing on ICT and creativity and its use in learning in Norway, China, Hungary, Poland, USA and Canada, been involved in study visits to Spain and Poland, worked closely with schools in Italy and advised and observed schools in the UAE. I am interested in working with schools in South America and Australia.
