Personal Statement

I am a primary trained teacher and have been working online since 1999. I now manage the delivery of online extension and challenge programs for highly able / gifted students around the state.  I deliver professional learning in online learning and support Quest Atlantis in the state, while running my own student groups in Quest.

ICT Interests

I delivered an online program in 1999 aimed at networking students in a sparsely populated region of the state, and was struck by the conversation and connected nature of the interactions.  Connecting learners has since become a steady focus of my work.

I am an inhabitant of Quest Atlantis, Second Life and several open source virtual worlds as well as an active participant in online gaming, and am captivated by the opportunities such environments provide for educators and their students.
