Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I have worked on a number of e-learning projects in the ICT field. Several years ago I was part of a pilot group of tutors with the Open University that completed the IITT certificate in e-tutoring skills. So I have worked for a long time supporting learners to engage on-line. Most recently I was involved in a blended learning programme that Creative Education ran on behalf of the TDA, supporting early career teachers with issues such as behaviour management and personal effectiveness, and developing strategies for coping with the stress of teaching through a virtual environment. I am keen to promote international collaboration and see the role that MirandaNet can play as important in supporting blended and fully virtual offerings for professional development
