Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I am a global educator. As a result of the advance in technology, we are becoming more global every day. The globalization to me has to do with the fact that we are now able to keep connected with people from around the world and we can learn about their culture. That makes possible that we are living in a multicultural world. We are all interconnected and whatever happens in one place may affect the rest of the world. My mission as a teacher is to educate my students in the classroom about global issues and diversity awareness. I want to offer my students a more global perspective during the instruction. The globalization provides me with the opportunity to connect and work with other teachers around the world to share ideas, knowledge and experiences that allow me to expand my perspectives when teaching my students.
