MirandaNet Fellowship Profiles (MirandaNet Archive - as of March 2015)
The best way to summarize my interests is "anthropology of knowledge". I am interested in how knowledge is created, shared, internalized, contested, and distructed. The domain in which I conduct my researches is that of education and technology. My methodology is discourse frame analysis and metaphor analysis. I keep several blogs where I track my thoughts in these areas: http://metaphorhacker.net, http://researchity.net and http://eduvoodoo.net. I have taught research methods, language, linguistics, education and technology. My ideal holiday is to attend a conference or summer school in linguistics.
