Personal Statement

I have multiple roles of school head, IT ambassador and teacher. I have done post graduation in Sociology and Diploma in Education (CPEd.). I have 6 years of teaching experience; this is my 5th year with Beaconhouse School System and I have been on training for effective use of ICT in teaching and learning since I joined the system. I have attended various workshops on teaching with ICT. My responsibility as a school head is to manage the administrative and academic tasks. Being an IT ambassador I guide my teachers for appropriate and effective use of available technology/resources. As a teacher I support my students to learn English as a foreign language. I plan ICT integrated activities and differentiated tasks and also guide the teachers for the same.My school is an upper primary school. It consists of grades 1-6. There are 402 students divided in 16 different sections. It has a well equipped IT lab and spacious resource room. Library has one computer with internet connectivity for students. Five computers are available for staff as well.
