Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Bedfordshire and I also work as an ESOL and EAP lecturer in a HE institution in Kent. I am very passionate about languages and ICT and my main research interests focus around that area - the use of ICT in foreign and second language education across different year groups. As a part of my Master's project I looked at the use of blended learning for second language learning for adult EFL students. My present research project will examine the idea of normalisation of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the context of primary education in England and will result in producing pedagogical framework for successful integration of ICT in primary MFL. I am also interested in (interactive) material development, which is a big part of my job.
