Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I have been associated with teaching in Beaconhouse for 16 years. I have taught multiple subjects like biology, mathematics, general science and chemistry. The new trends in teaching have compelled to get help from ICT in order to enhace the teaching and learning experience for myself and my learners.

I have seen other colleagues using ICT to make their lessons meaningful, intersting and engaging. It is easy to communicate with learners at any time, irrespective of space and location, it saves alot of time, is extremely helpful, can assist me in searching for resources on the internet, like worksheets, videos, lesson plans, interactive websites  etc.

Initially I found it difficult to search for information regarding a topic but now use of ICT has made it easy. I can communicate with my colleagues and share my ideas and concerns. This is one of the reasons I want to join mirandanet, so that I can share and learn from local and international colleagues around the world.
