Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I have been interested in the field of educational technology for a long time. It is my work (as a technology coordinator) but also my passion. I have been working at The American School in London for the past six years as the HS Technology Coordinator, after 10 years in Middle School teaching (English, Science, Math) in California and New York, in the US.

I am intrigued by the power of technology to aid the learning process and with increasing research about the human brain available to educators, it will be interesting to see how much ICT will develop over the next years. I enjoy introducing people to the joys of working with technology to enhance learning and hope to work collaboratively with educators around the world towards this end.
