Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I have been a science educator generally and physics educator in particular since 2006 after successfully completed Bachelor and Maters degree programmes in Science Education.I am a person with lived curiosity that makes me dissatisfied with superficial explanations. That curiosity, always lends me to areas that otherwise would have remained unexplored. This curiosity has led me into some uncharted territories to explore certain innovative methods of teaching which hitherto had not been used. Demonstration/activities based method has been employed to make lessons easily understood by students. Physics generally can be a bit abstract if not well demonstrated for pupils. The various activities employed make the teaching of physics practical and well appreciated by students. The use of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has also not been spared in my quest to employ all modern means of technology to make lessons practical and easily comprehended. Simulation and animation in ICT were among the strategies used to teach physics for its better appreciation.
