Personal Statement

I am teaching Science to middle school in Beaconhouse PTC. Currently I am doing DTWICT as part of my professional development. I think that regular use of ICT across different curriculum subjects have great motivational influence on learners learning. ICT contributes more focused teaching and learning. It promotes collaborative learning. ICT facilitates sharing of resources, it reduce burden of teacher. However, a thoughtful planning is required.Students become more independent learners. Differentiated task is helpful for visual or slow learners.Students found learning in a technology-enhanced setting more stimulating and student-centred than in a traditional classroom. I found that ICT enhances learning, students who use ICT attain better grades.
