Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I have been active in the edtech market for 15+ years, from technical support to business start up to business GM. I've been managing the UK division of BrainPOP for several years, with a focus on animation, games based learning and mobile learning. I have always been a strong proponent for the benefits that online technology and community can bring to a learner's journey. Although it's still early days, I think GBL and mobile are potentially the two most significant learning tech shifts since the invention of the wax tablet and abacus, so I'm keen to explore how these technologies can impact and improve 21st century students' lives.
