Personal Statement

Stuart Abrahams joined Groupcall in 2008.

Before that he spent almost 5 years at Pearson PLC as Sales & Marketing Director for their MIS business unit, and over 7 years creating and running the Viglen Schools team.

Groupcall was initially created to improve general and emergency communication between a school and its parents. Messenger is currently used in more than 2,500 schools mainly in the UK, but also in USA and Europe. The company also provides MIS data services to over 65 Local Authorities and over 40 3rd party suppliers. Xporter is installed in approximately 17,000 UK schools.

Their Emerge ‘app’ enables schools to have real time MIS data instantly and take registration securely on a mobile device anytime, anywhere.

Stuart has over 20 years’ experience of technology in the education sector, in areas as Communication, MIS, system interoperability, technology infrastructures & managed services. He has a thorough understanding of the needs of both small and large organisations and is a dedicated, passionate and professional individual who is well-known and respected within the education sector.
