Personal Statement


Personal Statement

An Executive Producer in BBC Learning, John is responsible for a number of the Corporation’s formal and informal digital learning products including BBC Bitesize and BBC Food, and part of the team which developed the BBC’s new digital educational content format, iWonder.

John is a graduate of the UK Open University’s Masters programme in Online and Distance Learning. His principal interest, both academically and professionally, is instructional design in technology enhanced learning.

John has presented at many TEL-related conferences, and blogged regularly on TEL related subjects, both for the BBC (see eg, www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/aboutthebbc/posts/learning_and_the_bbc) and on his own academic blog at http://johnmill.wordpress.com .
