Wayne Holmes
Personal Statement
Wayne is a Researcher at the London Knowledge Lab (Institute of Education, University of London), where he is working on the EU funded iTalk2Learn project which is developing and researching an open-source intelligent tutoring platform that supports maths learning for primary school students.
He also teaches on the MSc ‘Education, Technology and Society’ at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol.
In his spare time, Wayne is also Head of Education for zondle, an online and mobile learning with games platform.
He has a BA Hons in Film (Westminster), an MA in Philosophy (Greenwich), an MSc in Education (Oxford) and a PhD/DPhil in Education (Oxford). His doctoral research project was a design-based investigation of a prototype digital game for children low-attaining in mathematics.
