I am a lecturer and PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. My PhD thesis is about factors that influence novice primary teachers' decisions whether or not to ingrate ICT into everyday classroom practice. I lead the pedagogy and placement learning class for final year BEd students and teach a number of classes within the BEd/BA degrees and the Professional Graduate Diploma in Primary Education. I am fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese. My research interests are ICT in Education, e- and mobile-learning, teacher professional learning/development and assessment. I am a member of the British Educational Research Association (BERA), the Scottish Educational Research Association (SERA) and of The International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee Three. I am an external examiner in Educational Studies for the BEd Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have an MSc in Educational Computing from the University of Strathclyde.
