Personal Statement

Worked in the Inner London Education Authority, until its abolition in 1990, in community education - responsible for adult education advice services, childrens' theatres, grant aid to community groups. Main areas of activity in the DfEE have been in ICT and Design and Technology. Currently managing the quality assurance of the NOF teacher training programme in ICT.

ICT Interests

Trained as a systems analyst and programmer and have led IT projects principally based on IBM mainframes. Good deal of experience in training people to use IT. Had responsibility for National Curriculum IT within the DfEE for 5 years. Team Leader in the National Grid for Learning Division of the DfEE (now DfES).
