Personal Statement

Personal Statement

I am a teacher in Birmingham who has embedded ICT into his teaching and pupil learning. I have extended my classroom into the homes of pupils via an internet site - www.pupilvision.com I have developed other sites such as www.virtualfieldwork.com and www.revisionbuster.com These efforts and the way my lessons are conducted led to my nomination for the teaching award of teacher of the year for the most creative use of ICT. As a winner of the West Midlands regional award I was delighted to hear last weekend that the judges had made me the national award winner. This has led to much interest in my work from a number of sources. It was a privilege to be asked to support the GTC at their Birmingham meeting for new teachers.
