Personal Statement

I am Siraj Shahjahan, a pioneer multimedia local content producer, social media and ICT4D practitioner in Bangladesh. I am co-founder of Machizo Multimedia ( http://www.machizo.com ). Along with multimedia design and publishing on human rights and development issues, I ocationally teaches multimedia communication in University of Liberal Arts ( http://www.ulab.edu.bd ) Bangladesh. ICT Interests

I would like to use my knowledge, skills and experiences to build up a new dimension of ‘ICT leadership and advocacy’ and community development in Bangladesh by familiarising the use of computer, multimedia and the Internet to the village people, particularly to young generation. My initiatives will profoundly bring into play for poverty alleviation, world class multimedia content creation, assist to community development programs to rise up social awareness about democracy, good governance and true leadership.
