Personal Statement

Vinyl Junkie and Blues fanatic, actor, writer and director for Youth Theatres. Trained as a drama teacher and then spent 15 years in Special Ed teaching EBD and PH kids before becoming Primary ICT adviser for Croydon.

Currently running occasional courses for TAs and NQTs for Croydon QDI.

Am writing a radio play and hopefully a play/filmscript on the Romanian revolution.

ICT Interests

Using ICT as a tool - to write plays and organise exchanges:sufing the Internet for support materials for teaching and learning and for buying CDs and DVDs cheap!

Recent Projects

Until April 05 I was involved in a project putting RM Interactive Whiteboards into 15 Croydon Primary schools. I have been involved in several Transnational projects in Eastern Europe and arrange for 4 countries to participate in the Romanian Youth Drama Festival in Timisoara in 2005.

Have just completed a Comenius project that linked 6 schools in 6 European countries on a series of projects with a Healthy Living focus.

Currently in SA at the WCCE Conference, then with Promethean working on an IWB project with China, SA and Mexico.

Will then be visiting schools and developing work with Free State SA following a pilot project in October - the e-lapa project, a government initiative with support from local advisers and Mirandanet fellows.
