Personal Statement

Susan WilliamsSusan J. Williams has worked at Raynes Park High School, a mixed comprehensive in the south London Borough of Merton, for 17 years. RPHS is a specialist Technology College and is the Borough’s Specialist School for Autistic Spectrum Disorders. She joined as a member of the Learning Development Department, and is currently Head of Business Studies. In addition, she teaches English, Literacy, and RE to Key Stage 3 and acts as a mentor to Teaching Assistants seeking Higher Level Teacher Assistant status. Next year, she assumes responsibility for Enterprise Education throughout the School. She has an MA in “ICT in Special Needs Education”, and a Diploma in Education.

Susan accompanies her husband, Lawrence, on his visits to address groups in various countries, and has herself lectured at Baylor University (Texas, USA) and Bitola University (Macedonia).

In her spare time, she enjoys the company of their four children, and revels in her new role as a grandmother to Eleanor and Elizabeth
