Personal Statement

Started as a teacher - one of the first to use a computer with a group of 9/10 year olds in 1976, moved into MEP in 1982, became a ICT centre manager, adviser, teacher trainer, and then Deputy General General Secretary of Naace. Following a period on secondment to the DfES / DCSF as a strategic development adviser and consultant to the Beyond Current Horizons programme, I am now following my own path in implementing technology in learning working across a number of areas and providing guidance and support wherever it is needed.

ICT Interests

My particular interest is in how learners work together to bypass the strictures and barriers that education puts in the way.

Recent Projects

My recent work has been delivering stakeholder engagement for the Beyond Current Horizons programme with Futurelab and DCSF.
